Intro and Watching my parents suffer at the hand of my sister

Hello, i'm new. My now 18yo sister has BPD and is turning my family's life into a nightmare. She lives with our parents and i just moved out 6 months ago. I don't have to endure the abuse i did when i was living under the same roof, but i fear for my parents and feel so helpless as it makes work hard on us now as well. I bought and read a self help book for people with BP loved ones, bought my parents a copy and even made notes for them in an attempt to be helpful, but they've never read any of it. I have blocked my sister and am fine with having no contact with her now (sadly), but don't know what to do or if there is anything i even can or should do about my parents dealing with her.

Hi! I'm also new and have probably no good advice for you but I just thought I'd say, I'm in a very similar situation with my brother and its so hard, so I'm sorry.

I've also blocked my brother but my parents still have to deal with him and he is so exhausting and stressful. If anything, just know you're not alone. Hopefully we can both find some answers

Welcome to the group  

I'm sorry you and your parents are struggling with your sister's behaviors.  Like AmyBee said you are most definitely not alone.  Everyone on this site has someone with BPD/BPD Traits in their life, we all "get it".

Can you expand on your story a bit?  It sounds like your sister has been diagnosed.  Has she or is she in Therapy?  Has the rest of the family gone to Therapy for support at all?  

What types of behaviors are you and your parents seeing most often?  How is everyone reacting?
