Hello Welcome new member (click to insert in post), I was here 10 years ago and I felt like coming back - I'm a dad of 3 and I struggle with BPD behavior of my wife - been so for long time. I hope by sharing my stories I can be of help to someone out here. Cheers!

Hi osprey, welcome back -- it'll be good to have you around again to share your experiences.

How old are your kids now, and are they all still at home? How have they been doing with the challenges that come from your W's BPD behaviors?

Thanks for the reply!

Yep we are all at home - by the way of introduction, me (husband 44) wife (39) and kids are girl(8), boy(5) and a newborn girl, situated in the east coast of the US.

Looks like posts from 2010 are now gone, but I'd like to start writing down what I see on the daily here so I can hopefully connect with people in similar circumstances. The BPDfamily members helped me feel grounded, and the written track records helped me quickly convey the situation to anyone - friends, authorities, case workers and such so there were pragmatic benefit tool. In some circumstances I was able to emotionally support others on the same boat and I'd be happy to do so again here.

Now let me see if I can start a thread...the site changed since then but I'll figure it out!
