Paragraph header  (click to insert in post)

My girlfriend of four months has BPD and a month ago she has started telling me that part of her disorder is that she gets tired of people and will sooner rather than later leave me, even after we had planned moving in together in a couple of months (both trying to get away from parents). Yet some time later when I brought up the moving plan again, she also started discussing about it and I do not know about her intentions now. I'm afraid she will leave me, her past relationships have been toxic and I am her first healthy partner, I want to support her in any way and want to be with her, because I truly care about her, but the thought of losing her is something I don't know how to handle especially if she has her disorder.

Does she pursue/participate in any therapy methods?

It is common for this back & forth wavering, curious if anyone in this community has experienced a solution or healing avenue to this?

No, no therapy. She used to, but didn't feel safe talking to the therapist about her issues/feelings.

Can be worth it to bring things to open discussion.

Are you able to express what is coming to surface for you? i.e: your fears & hesitations.

It is important to be able to communicate these things prior.

A little tip is to assure rent is something you are able to potentially manage on your own.

Self care & Self sufficiency are key.

If you want mutual growth, quality living & healing; can be beneficial to seek out a new form of therapy/therapist.

Incorporate regulation practices.

I pray this is helpful for you.
