I am new to this group.   My 19th year old granddaughter has benign and out our mental health treatment centers and hospitals.  She has been diagnosed with BDP.  Her psychiatrist suggested getting inpatient DBT treatment at Clearview in California.  Would appreciate any information, comments you have about this facility.  Thank you.

Hi VictoriaS
It sounds as though you have had a long and difficult time with your loved gd. I am not familiar with this facility and I suppose it would be hard to find someone here who has the knowledge etc of the specific place.

I can only suggest you look up reviews of the facility? Also if the psychiatrist recommended it then - if they know your gd well and there is now a diagnosis of BPD - it would probably be good to at least contact the facility and see what they have to offer.

I hope this recommendation is helpful and enables your gd to manage this serious illness.
