Anyone get a crazy amount of texting/messaging after doing a NC. The text are all over the place and a bit bipolar in nature. She keeps on without the need for a acknowledgment. I have them blocked on my phone - but it sends them to a blocked folder that I can pull up later. I know I should figure out a way to stop them from ever getting to me, as I know it's not a good idea to even read them.

I got over 60 of them from this weekend.

Yes that happened to me too. It's mind boggling. Sorry you have to experience this. In my experience I had to not respond. Every response keeps the behavior alive. It's like rewarding a child for bad behavior. In the case of my daughter's mom it has never stopped completely but I am committed to not respond. I had to take legal action including a stalking order, but she still sends letters from jail to her probation officer to forward to me.

You should be able to block them through your carrier directly, this way you will never see them.

I have kids with mine, so I have to talk with her unfortunately.

Usually she might send something unimportant which I don't respond to.

Eventually after no reply, she'll send something an hour later about the kids which I have to respond to.

Eventually she'll find a new outlet and the txts will stop pretty quickly.
