My ex bragged about the fact that he went to a local community college for TWO PSYCHOLOGY COURSES. He even showed me the books. So I don't think he went there for a degree, but he went there to take courses about the human mind.

How ironic. Even more ironic is that his mom would send texts to her bf that were IDENTICAL to the ones he sent me. And she told me his dad was as possessive as my exbf was and that's why she divorced him.

Is it possible they ALL have it?

Your ex has an emotional based disorder. Everyone's different with different levels of self awareness. BPD is ingrained in his personality. How he interprets reality is very real to him, just as how we interpret ours.

Reality is open to debate. Emotions and feelings are real.

He's a person that was interested in psychology and perhaps he wasn't self-aware of his mental illness. A possibility is that he was in denial or a combination of both.

My ex is interested in many things and has traits of a complex and misunderstood disorder. The disorder doesn't quantify the person.
