Hi,

This is my first post and I’m hoping for some advice. My husband has a diagnosis of BPD and anxiety and also ADHD. We have young children and life is quite difficult.

We are currently living apart although he sees us daily as I work full time as well. He has mood swings and constantly contradicts everything I say. He is always correct and all his problems are always due to me.

I’m dependent on him to a certain degree but he also relies on my hugely as he doesn’t have any friends or family.

I was wondering if anyone else in a similar situation managed to turn things around and for it to improve? We’ve been together for 6 years

Many thanks

Hi and welcome!

Excerpt

We have had some members who have been able to turn things around significantly and some who have made their lives more manageable.  There is hope and you are not alone.   Virtual hug (click to insert in post)

Can you share some more info with us?  Is your husband in therapy or treatment?  How about you?  Many of our members have gone for counseling and have benefitted greatly from the support.  Can you tell us about your kids?  How are they?

I hope to hear more from you soon.

Again, Welcome
