Ive read this from BPD sufferers that the mood stabiliser lamictal makes them start feeling almost normal,
It sounded too good to be true.
Is there any truth to this? Any experiences with this guys.
Some pwBPD also mentioned topiramate.
But some of them wrote that these mood stabilisers stoped working for them after a few months.
Any information?

Do you have a link or any work cite that gives more information to that claim? I am interested.
It would be great... .but I would guess it would be out if it indeed worked in any amount.

Some mood stabilizers have some effect on some pwBPD. Some have a placebo effect, and others have negative side effects. Non fix it completely. Each med and its effect on different people is unique
The pursuit of a magic pill can become an obsession with a black/white mentality of it being essential/useless. The responsibility for a "cure" can be projected onto meds.
All mood stabilizers take a while to develop a stabilized blood level, they are not quick acting and struggle to follow triggered mood swings.
By all means try them but they need to be closely monitored by a psychiatrist and dont pin all your hopes on them. pwBPD are not that good at attributing their feelings to specific causes & treatments, so conclusions can become clouded.
