Here we go again

Have dealt with my wife’s “moments” that last 3-4 days. Day 1 is  a shut down, then the I don’t want to be in a relationship, move out, then eventually apologetic for her behavior by day 4. What I don’t get is she’ll treat me this way and be fine with others. There are more complications care giver issues with in-laws etc
I’ve learned over the years not to react but to respond to her moments. I’m in counseling to learn how to communicate with her when these moments arise.

Hi and welcome.

You are dealing with a lot.  It is not easy is it?  Can you tell us more about your situation?  What sort of things are you learning in counseling?  We have a lot of tools here that can help as well as being able to offer support.  We get it here.

When you can, tell us more.  In the meantime, I hope you settle in and read and jump into other threads.  We all work together to support each other and learn.
