Can anyone recommend a book or books for a 10 year old to read perhaps with an adult, that will explain to them their parents raging and behaviour and also help the child not feel responsible for this parent's behaviour and well being?

The "go to" book is An Umbrella for Alex. I read it over, it seems to be quite direct about the behavior.

Umbrella for Alex is the one we have! It has pauses that are great for getting little ones to talk about what they are dealing with.
