Hello all!

So proud to say that I took a big step in confiding to friends of ours (the parents of my son's (8yrs) friend actually) about my reality of living with my wife (undiagnosed BPD characteristics, emotional roller coaster ride, etc.

Anyways, felt so good to acknowledge to someone, other than my parents, that the relationship is over and feel validated for my choice as well as the encouragement that life gets better, that the kids will be fine in due time, and that I will be able to meet someone special and have a "normal", meaningful relationship.

Phew... . getting better every day right?   Smiling (click to insert in post)

Living in isolation is tough going Curly and its good to reach out to those that you trust. It really does get better.

Are you good otherwise?

Thanks for the encouragement Clearmind.

I am living an emotionally sustainable and joyous life, despite the present circumstances.

I am comfortable with the challenges and opportunities of emotionally detaching and preparing for a separation in the future.
