Just a quick background note:  I am a lesbian that was involved with a woman that had a boyfriend but said she knew she was gay.  She told me she just wanted a baby from him and would cheat on him on the side.  She talked about getting married to him and doing this.  Well... .I have since distached from our dysfunctional relationship and have been doing NO contact.  Struggling with asking her for my belongings back but have held strong.

Well... .I find out today at work that she is PREGNANT!  She told me previously that she would get a baby from that guy and it appears she will.  However, I am not sure she will be able to curtail her alcohol and suspected drug abuse.

I just feel that this is sinister.  She is using this man.  Also, feel sorry for the unborn baby.

But... .this is not my problem.  Just wanted to purge this from my thoughts and share it with this forum.

  OTB

I would feel sinister too.  :'(

And having some thoughts about life, faith and babies... .

How do you cope with the breakup?

And are the things from valable for you or can you say its okay to not have it?

Dear OTB,

First of all, a little tip from one (of many) who have been burned badly on the subject of the pwBPD being pregnant.  These folks lie.  A.  Lot.   Therapists (the few who will work with them) generally have a ground rule that everything they say is a lie unless it can be independently verified.  Being preggers is one of their favorite lies as it really gets the drama they like going full speed.

A far more important issue than this is why it matters to you.
