well last week 7 days after she told me she no longer was in love with me and was done with our relationship. i received a text at about the 5 day mark. the texts was telling me how bd shew as doing how she missed us and how she was trying to make sense of why we couldnt make it work. I ignored and didnt respnd. a day after that I get one late at night asking me was I up. i didnt respond. a hour later another one for her telling me she was moving on in so many words. I dindt respond. The next day some accidental texts to me that was supposedly ment for someone else but she got them mixed up and sent to me by accident. i didnt respond. I didnt hear nothing for a few days and then she called and I didnt answer. That was hard.
I starting to feel a little better no so much letting my mind get to me. But when they start pecking, it gets hard to stay strong. I hope she has gave up for awhile. i was feeling so much better when i didnt hear anything from her.

Hi, mitchell16. I sympathise with your situation.
I have taken the route of no contact whatsoever, and also tried to insulate myself from any information about my ex by asking friends to censor their conversations with me. Deleting texts without reading them is powerful, but very hard. I have managed so far, despite the massive curiosity to know what she's saying, and it has given me some emotional space to try to get my head together. You say you were feeling better with no contact - you can take control and keep feeling better. You don't have to just hope she won't contact you - delete the texts, don't read them, don't let her manipulate the situation. Everyone is different, but it def has helped me.
Best of luck, mitchell, in dealing with all of this, however you decide to proceed.
