My dBPDw just asked me to get out of the photo pose with all the kids and said in front of kids... .'I dont want u in any picture with you'.  It was my daughters bday.  Am I just expecting too much.  I felt embarrased, humiliated and angry.  I left room after that and took a walk but still feel emotional about it

No you are not.  You are human and she is upping the ante to hurt you.  I suspect that if you keep ignoring her attempts to convey that she is upset that she will escalate.

I'm w waverider on this.  Time to ask her what is really bothering her.  Prepare for a deluge and work on validation prior to having this conversation!  Dont apologize for anything that is not 'yours'.

Things not going so well.  I posted in the other thread (on should I take the kids to the movie) my thoughts from WaveRunner question and what has happened this morning.

It is completely normal to be hurt by that.

And sadly, your wife did it because she wanted to hurt you. Yes, it is hard to get over that kind of thing.

I got some comfort from knowing that my wife was (internally) hurting at least as much as she was hurting me at times like that. Many pwBPD are not able to share how bad they are feeling, but my wife was pretty clear about it to me. (Well, except for times she was projecting it onto me)
