For the last few weeks, it's been crazy. My dBPDh has been unstable but not fully erupted... .until last night.

It's been a few crazy weeks first off, he was handling them good until this week. This week alone, we had to rush to my parents to help lift my grandfather after he fell( my husband adores him), then he feels he failed our 9yold niece ( she stop by the house after school after she missed her bus home... .he didn't hear her knocking, so she went back to school. It was a cold and rainy day, she was worried and scared. He is very protective of her) and this weekend marks 6 years since lost our child.

Last it totally erupted, but it wasn't like usual. There was no hurting himself, no screaming, no violence really. He cried... .allot. I held him my arms for hours.

Today, he's worn out. We had a bunch of things to do before winter, but I did most of it alone. What is left, we have to do it together.

Foreverhopefull,

Sounds like your husband released his emotions in a different way?  I'm glad you were there for him... .  For each other at such a heartbreaking time.

Hope you're able to get your winter things done together in a timely manner.

After almost 3 years of intensive therapy, he understands how to let go of his emotions in a more stable way. That is just one of the major components of the benefits of all his therapy.

It was a draining event, but still a positive one. Positive in that he wasn't turning into Hulk because he's sad and hurting, positive in that we were able to stand strong together and talk. Positive in the fact there was no blood shed, only tears.

What a difference it made. We got through this weekend stronger as a couple.

Foreverhopefull, I'm happy to here that although it was a hard weekend, it was also a good one. You're standing stronger now, that's wonderful  Smiling (click to insert in post)
