VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

Hey all,

I'm new to the site however I can't help but to feel a sense of relief on here. Reding the stories, I feel as if my ex dated each and everyone of you on here. It's eerie to say the least.

I just want to let you guys know on this post that all of us deserve better and we will get better one day. I hope we can all use this relationship as a catalyst for self growth and as a blueprint on how to NOT have a relationship.

I suffer from severe OCD to a point that it almost halts having a normal life at times of stress. However, I can guarantee each and everyone of you on here that I am conscious of my actions and I never take them out on anyone, especially a loved one. If, on a rare occasion I do, I immediately apologize. Bpd and OCD are two completely different things however, if a man who was nearly crippled with severe ocd can change, keep on fighting, handle this break up and live a pretty normal life then everyone on here can. Life is beautiful.

I'd like to leave whoever is going toread this with a quote, personal favorite of mine

"The chances of each of us coming into existence are infinitesimally small, and even though we shall all die some day, we should count ourselves fantastically lucky to get our decades in the sun"

Savor life. Be glad that sun is hitting our faces, that we are able to feel its warmth. This is just a bad spell.
