Happy new year
«
on:
January 01, 2014, 11:38:08 AM »
Well, I went out with a bang.
Heard from the ex, she found out is been on dates with another girl and went nuts.
So let me get this straight, she doesn't want to be with me, but then isn't happy when I start seeing other people?
Why should she care?

They hate it when they see that you are moving on, they don't like the loss of control.

The ex tried to call me at 5am this morning. I knew it was her because it was a withheld number. I called and asked why she rang, she said she's not happy that I've been on dates with a girl who is friends with some of her friends.
She said its in her face etc. I told her it should be no concern as she's with someone and she shouldn't care less about me.
Now I don't know what to do.

If you like the girl you are dating or think their is potential keep moving forward. You already know what is going to happen if you try again with your ex. Its so simple yet so freaking complicated!

Is it wrong that the new girl I'm dating is friends with some of my ex's friends?
She said she's not happy because I'm rubbing her nose in it. No one has said anything to her and I haven't seen my ex.

Depends on the situation, but in your case: no, it does not seem wrong at all.
With BPD there is a risk however... she just might try to influence your new girlfriend directly or indirectly.
I seem to have a lost a couple of friends that way. :-( (but then... I've chosen not to tell the ugly stuff about her. Although chivalrous and all, it sure doesn't help me)

She won't have any contact with the girl I've been dating.
I told her that if she's happy & moved on with this bloke that whatever I do shouldn't be any concern to her. However, she left an awnser phone messge whilst she was blocked saying how much she missed me etc, then blamed it on the booze... . As per usual.
I admit, neither of us seem to be letting go.

She just wants to know that she still "has" you. Please get yourself out of that trap. She wants to know she can have EVERYBODY.

Stop doing things with her in mind. Put yourself first. It is as simple as that.

I'm doing it for me. I don't understand why she is concerned and unhappy with who I see or date when she said she's happy without me.
