Hi, I left the board for a while after my expwBPD got a year restraining order on me.  It's been almost 2 months and I am feeling so much better.  We were together all total 4 months but it was very intense and full of emotion.   The pain has subsided quite a bit and I am dating a few women.   I am in therapy going back to church, making new friends, and will be climbing and hiking this summer.  I have my moments of wishing I was back with her but think about all the turmoil and that sets me straight.   I hold no ill will for her, I have forgiven her and she is slowlyturning into a memory.   I have gone through all the grieving stages and then back again.  I have learned that I craved her validation at the beginning and I got hooked because of my self esteem issues.  Don't think I will ever get involved with a BPD again.   I am wise.

Good to hear you are better.  Smiling (click to insert in post)

Keep going like this!

It's really good to hear your update, Irish Smiling (click to insert in post) You and I arrived on these boards and went NC right around the same time (I was coming out of a 3-month r/s with a pwBPD), so I've followed your journey along with my own.

I'm also diving back into the dating pool - nothing serious, just coffee dates.I can completely relate to your journey through the grieving process. For me, it was never a straight line - more like a series of loops and curves and going back to the very beginning at times.

Hope you continue to do well, heal and carry forth with the new wisdom you've gained.

Best,

Kai
