BPD illness and pregnancy

I think I read somewhere that borderlines are known for making up illnesses or faking illnesses.
Tonight I was forced to see my brother and his uBPD wife, at a family function. She's 11 weeks pregnant. Before the party, she told my aunt, who's house it was held at, that she gets sick around 7pm everyday. Now I didn't deal with much Nausea or morning sickness during my pregnancy and I'm not doubting she's experiencing it, but does it really come at the exact same time on a daily basis? Of course though, she can't just be dealing with some nausea, it has to be and extreme for. Of morning sickness. She went around today telling everyone at the party that she has the very same thing that Kate Middleton has. It's called hyperemesis gravidarum. If you're not familiar with it, it's a very rare and extreme form of morning sickness, that will render you very ill and make you vomit multiple times a day. A lot of women are hospitalized because it could dehydrate them. I don't know if I believe she has
this
. She is known to exaggerate about things.
At one point during the party, I saw my brother fly out the from door to where she was sitting on the stoop and he was asking her what's wrong, what can he do and so on and so forth. I walked into the back yard and a few minutes later, they were in the house and she looked absolutely fine. Her episode had perfect timing too. My brother had walked away from her for a moment and got caught up talking to someone else. I totally think she faked it. I think she just wants sympathy and attention. It's terrible that I have to think that way but I just feel like you have to take everything she says, at face value.
She was also wearing this gigantic maternity shirt. It was the kind of maternity clothes you need at the end of your pregnancy. The kind of shirts that have an umpire waist. Almost like a baby doll dress. I mean, she's only 11 weeks and she's not a heavy girl. I didn't start showing until 6 months. I just found it sort of strange.
Anyway, I'm wondering if this really is a common thing for BPD's. Does pregnancy effect them differently than it would effect a non?

It's not pregnancy per say. It's just the need for emotional feedback and to feel in control of a situation of group of people. She might have more evident mood swings as part of the pregnancy, but that' affects all ladies differently, even the same woman having different experiences with each pregnancy.
If she has any complications, her OBGYN should know and she should be seeing them regularly... If she's not, then it could just be a cry for attention.
