my ex BPD gf, showed affection for the first time ... ?
«

She works in a bar, a guest attacked her, and I got him out.
In the aftermath she stroke me gently on my shoulder and back, showed me some affection.
I was perplexed, i sometimes tried similar behaviour in the past, and she always hated it, no touching was allowed.
it makes me wonder, if she mimick this behaviour, or is it temporarely, or is she suddendly capable of showing affection and maybe intimacy?

I think she was showing you affection. She was attacked and thankful.
There were calm moments in my r/s. It wasn't always polarized from split good or split bad. She displayed empathy, compassion when she wasn't emotionally dysregulated.
She's a person with feelings. She can display affection like everyone else. I hope that helps.

This is a dangerous game, sometimes she appear so normal, other occations she barely keep together.
Easy to forget her bad pages.
She is looking for new supply, and i am weak and lonely. No wonder this board is properly advicing no contact and no view.
