Suicide attempt anniversary

This is gone sound weird, it is a year to the day my ex tried to kill herself, I can't sleep and I want to break nc!

i will cut this short, we had been together 6 months, 1st 3 months great then she started cutting then 2 months later I came home from work, her bedroom door was locked, luckily I insisted she gave me the key when she started cutting. Still she had barricaded the door, I broke through, found her with tape on her mouth so she we would choke on her vomit, she had overdosed, I ripped the tape off and got her to hospital, she used to be a junky so the od barely touched her. She really thought it would make me leave her, I didn't, it took another 9 months for us to split ( December just gone).

I can't help but think this date might trigger her again, what do i do, I can't get it off my mind!

Hi Terrychango.  My heart goes out to you.  It's never any fun having a front row seat to a loved ones illness and turmoil.  Does your ex have any family or female friends that could be prompted to be there for her right now?

Hey, I'm 3 days past the 5th anniversary of my exBPDw's suicide attempt, so I feel your pain.  Since we have a child together, I'll always have to deal with her, but I do agree with those feelings.  They're difficult to deal with, and I wish you the best with them.

I checked out her social media, she was up to her usual flirty lesbian stuff. But at least I knew she was still alive.

Does this mean I broke nc, I'm never quite sure. I'm happy I didn't directly contact her, I don't think the date was a trigger for her, just me!

Past it now and happy again me thinks.
