I have some great news.  Small news but very significant.  It is a reminder that what I am doing (NC/No Stalking) is working.  I am recovering!  I share this as a sign of hope for all of us slogging thru NC.

Last Sunday, I went on my first date (lunch) since the b/u in Nov.  Yesterday, my sister asked me if I had heard from my "friend."  I assumed she was speaking of my lunch date and launched into a long-winded answer about him.

But guess what?  This is the best part:  she was not speaking of my lunch date. She was asking about my UxBPDbf who did NOT even cross my mind.  He, who has been on my mind non-stop since meeting him, did NOT even blip into my consciousness at that moment.  Hallelujah!

There is hope.

We're fighting the good fight.

Yay for NC! I finally was able to put it in place a few days ago. I feel so relieved now, not to have to worry about the next contact, both longing for it and wondering how hurt I will be by my ex's detachment from me. I am kind of depressed now, but I do feel like I've started the uphill climb now. NC is a very helpful tool!

Way to go Achaya!  So proud of you and your choice to take good care of yourself.  NC is a great tool.  Often not easy but amazingly effective. Good on 'ya!

Bravo! Be proud. We need to see more of this. It gives hope, and inspiration, to those that feel they'll never climb out of their hole.
