VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

Just an info topic---I have read many people seeing that their current or ex pwBPD "shows up" as actively on dating websites. Just to have another view, I have a friend who had an active dating profile 4 years ago.  Out of curiousity, she looked at the website  (without signing in, and by using a public computer, not her own) and was horrified to see that her profile was listed as active and "online now"... .she literally hasn't used it in years.  It turns out there have been many complaints about the website "reactivating" old accounts to make the site look busy.

Another friend's computer was hacked, and the hacker "reactivated" her dating profile on a different site (again, that friend hadn't used the site for a long time)---and they even went to the extent of hacking new photos from her computer and "adding" them to the profile. She only found out about it when she logged into an old email account and found "new" emails.

So in this age of technology, it's good to take a deep breath and see the facts before assuming the pwBPD is actually on one of those sites or not Smiling (click to insert in post)

WOW... .this brave new world sure brings it's own share of complexities

When I bought up the online dating profile in Family Court with my exBPD after her actions in court and her words on her online dating profile didn't correlate, her online profile sure disappeared real quick.

Yes, sometimes they really have current online dating profiles. Other times, as I have learned, the person doesn't activate the profile yet there it is online "now" with current photos and updated words.
