I noticed that when my ex is triggered by something, which is usually small, she turns into this crazy, monstrous, demon-like being. Her eyes open wide (and she has big eyes), she loses all emotions, and she lashes out with yelling screaming kicking and punching whatever she can get her hands on. She punched my car once, leaving a dent, and I love my car  so I was pissed!. One time she was IN the car, and she punched my dashboard. Luckily nothing happened. One time she was pissed, got out of the car and started walking to the nearest gas station which was about 3 miles away. I was driving right by her, begging her to get into the car so I can driver her to the gas station while she's cursing and refusing. Of course the next day, I apologize for "Whatever I did... .", and she came back. Usually a day later, she would be the sweetest, softest, most sincere, most loving and giving human being that you can find, what call me to ask if I needed lunch delivered, park outside my work for hours until I'm done, and when I'm busy would go home early and say "I don't want to go out without you, because you're working, and I don't want to have fun while you're not". How bizarre. How can someone switch from and innocent kind and sweet person to the vicious heartless cold monster. I feel horrible for her, because I know that she was abused as a child, and I'm sure this is how sweet she actually would be if she wasn't so abused. I feel like the abuse she went through, has triggered all of these defenses. Can anyone tell me about their experiences with the "Monster" Mode of BPD?
