Almost a year later I get a text from her

So almost a year after my ex uBPDgf and I broke up I get a text from her. We hadn't spoken since January and even then that was because she had stalked me at school.

Our relationship ended because she dumped me and left me for someone else she was cheating on me with so obviously it was a traumatic and painful breakup for me.

So her text was basically "hey do you have my friends CD? She's asking for it years later." This is obviously her testing the waters right? A CD I had from 3 years ago, a CD? Go buy the CD again if you want it so bad. Her text made me laugh while also pissing me off at the same time because of what she did to me.

Funnily enough, that very same day her ex best friend which I still talk to told me that morning that my ex had tried contacting her and that she noticed her and my replacement had broken up.

Things just make sense I guess. Her relationship ended with my replacement, she's lonely or whatever and needs to reach out to not only me but her friend that she also wronged. We both ignored her.

Run away as far as you can my friend.  You get back in there you will be in the same situation in about 6 months to a year. I am telling you this by my experience.  Find a girl that will reciprocate your Love, Respect and care. I read somewhere that when life throws you lemons, you make lemonade.

Wow, sounds like her most recent round of abandonment has driven her right back to you. She's testing the waters with this, and if you reply, I guarantee it will be a spiral into something even heavier.

You seem very adamant that you will not contact her ever again, I believe you and I am proud of you. Shows that no matter how much we were hurt, with time this fog and pain will lift and we WILL get better. It DOES get better.

thanks and it does truly get better. Fresh from the breakup I never thought I would be where I am today.

An update to this is that I'm pretty sure she called me last night at 1:30 in the morning. It was an unknown / blocked call, which is what she did in the past as well.
