Just wondered if their is written script in the 'Radical Acceptance' info that states you have to accept that you are probably going to lose that person anyway? Is this part and parcel of Radical Acceptance and if so can someone point me in the direction of where I can read about this? Thanks

Radical Acceptance is about accepting things that can't be changed, as being what they are, along with "possible" consequences. It is not about jumping to conclusions about perceived inevitabilities... .So change "you are probably" with "it is possible you are".

The first difficulty of radical acceptance is determining what you can, and cannot, affect

Thank you for clarifying Waverider.

I was temporarily dealt what I thought could be a discard yesterday and I dealt with it by repeating to myself 'it's out of your hands, you did not cause this and you need to accept that you can not change this' and I was ok! A year ago I freaked out, was crying and calling him like a lunatic only for him to act worse! It still bloody hurts but I WILL survive what life deals Smiling (click to insert in post) x
