How to communicate after a contentious divorce... Following a contentious divorce and custody battle, there are often high emotion and tensions between the parents. The children sense their parents anxiety in their voice, their body language and their parents behavior. Here are some suggestions from Dean Stacer on how to avoid conflict.

Hi Peeps,

Hope you are well!  I am not sure where I should post this, but I am excited to have it for myself and for my 15 yr daughter (who is not BPD).  This resource has information that could help anyone.  Be sure to click on the individual links in the list on the right hand side.

For those of us still in r/s with the pwBPD, maybe it can be of particular help.  I am not in touch with my UexBPDbf so I will not be using this with him.  But, again I am glad to have it for ME.

It is concise and easily accessible.

I just shared the "Finding Alternative Thoughts" worksheet with my daughter who liked it.  I suggested she keep a copy in her backpack to consult when she is having a rough day at school.  She agreed and thought her friends could use it too.

There are many links I have not yet explored.  Hope you like it!

XOXO

RML

PS hang on to this link because I had a terrible time getting back to it once I looked around the site.
