Hi, everyone.  As stated above, I'm new here, and I'm not sure what the conventions are.

In brief, I'm an 18 year old boy struggling with a BPD father.  Is there a particular place I should post my story?  Are there any standard practices I ought to know about?

My goal is to find support, and also to offer support and encouragement for others through through their own hard times.

Any advice, information, or just plain patience for this newbie would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Haha, thank you, my friend.  Wishing you all the best, and if you ever want to talk, I'm here for ya.

So long as I'm back, I must say: I LOVE the flashing "NEWBIE" sign next to my name.  And that's not being sarcastic; I love it.  It's hilarious!

CAUTION!  CAUTION!  IGNORANCE APPROACHING!  PUT UP BLAST SHIELDS AND SET PHASERS TO STUN!

I know just about everyone here is going to be going through a difficult time in their lives, but I really value a positive outlook and strong sense of humor, even in the darkest times.  Which is why I wanted to share what is quite possibly my favorite thing, on any forum, ever.
