Death from lack of common sense?
«

My sister died while trying to fake a suicide attempt.
Shouldn't common sense tell us not to fake such things in a manner that might actually kill us?

Ropend, How are you and your family coping with her death?
As far as dying from a fake suicide. Yeah, I guess it's a lack of common sense. And completely pointless. I think about the PWBPD in my life. She can be very common sense. But if she feels slighted, if the littlest things doesn't go the way she wants it to, she goes into this twisted, poisonous reality.

I am sorry for your sister's tragic passing. This is a horrific trauma that I would recommend you and your family seek counseling for if you haven't already.
My d's friend also completed s and it has had a terrible affect on her. My d is actually now in a residential program and is currently working thru the grief.
As for common sense, it is unfortunate, but many people w/BPD become unregulated for one reason or another and the "common sense" part of their brain does not function.
Again, so sorry for you, your family and her surviving friends.

Did this come out during an investigation?

Did this come out during an investigation?
I guess.
We, the surviving family pieced together with the professional investigators what had taken place and it didn't match her other half ass attempt to kill herself which always ended with pills and a phone call so she wouldn't die.
Yes I'm serious about her other attempts always having those two traits.
Thanks for your concern everyone I left out that she's been gone about half a year now and I think I'm starting to recover.
