BPD Gone?

A short history:
Wife is dx rapid cycle bipolar 2 and BPD. Moved out of the bedroom for about 3 years, wanted a divorce, daily disregulation and attempts to pick a fight.
Last fall she moved out of town, came back 2 days later.
Month later, she moved out again and took everything she owns. Called 2 weeks later begging to come home. I told her she would have to commit to a T, MC with me, and go to partial hospitalization program her psychiatrist wanted her to go to. When I got home from work that day, she was cooking dinner and moved back into the master suite.
She has been very stable since coming home. There have been only 2 major disregs in 6 months, both were short and mild compared to the past. There have been a handful of minor melt downs, mostly shame over how she has acted and treated me. Picking fights is a thing of the past. Seeing T and MC regularly.
I am praying the BPD is gone for good, but fully prepared for it to come roaring back any minute.
Why the remission? How? Not sure, myself. Any theories? Anyone seen this with their SO before?

I'm no expert, but it seems she feels good with herself and the situation now, so there are no difficulties within herself that she has to deal with. She has help from the T, the MC makes her feel she is also contributing. Long may it so continue.

Are her thought processes still out of whack, but the conflict/defensiveness gone? Or is she suddenly acting as thought she never thinks in odd or illogical ways?
My wife is still full blown BPD except conflict is rarely directed at me, so as long as i can accept "odd" then there are no real dramas to concern me much, and thats fine by me.
Is it permanent or only a phase waiting to be dispelled by a trigger I guess is your major concern

Thought processes are remarkably clear. She acts much like she did before all the symptoms started after our daughter was born. There is a lot of guilt over the way she has acted the past few years and says she cannot explain why she acted and felt the way she did. As quickly as the bipolar and BPD set in so many years ago, it has seemingly disappeared.
I cannot explain it, nor can she or the doctors. This is the stable woman I married.

Watching for the flags, but more importantly I now know what to do if I see them.
