Can anyone relate to some of the red flags we are posting about? I mean, have any of you found your own behavior on the list? I think I was like that when I was younger, a few things... .I feel like I have changed allot since then, but some of the red flags seem like they are co-dependant qualities. Even still, I would say they are not people to be involved with. Lord knows, I was a mess in my younger days, even when I met my ex apparently or I would not have fallen for his charms. Some of the huge things they do I can't say I am even close to doing... .but it bothers me when I see a few things on the list and wonder if anyone has felt the same? I have read that co-dependants and personality disordered people are similar. Maybe that is the part about having same maturity levels... .Yet at the same time, they can seek strong people as I have also read.

I agree Herodias.
Before my recent relationship with the person I suspect is BPD, I went out with someone else for a good number of years. I question a lot of my behaviour with her, but the thing is she is still a great friend these days. I ask her what I was like when we were together and she says she has no complaints, that I was a really good boyfriend and that she sabotaged the relationship for her own reasons. So yeah, I do see some of these red flags in my own behaviour, but the person I was with doesn't.
Weird.
