Hi Friends,
I am NC 15 months with my exBPDbf. Initially, I thought he was bipolar, which initiated my quest for knowledge by attending psychotherapy. That was 2+ years ago. My ex is BPD with NPD, has MDD and traits of bipolarII.
Last week, my therapist thought I may benefit an even better understanding of BPD from the perspective of a BPD patient through excerpts of her journal as well as her family's account in a compelling book.
"Remnants of a Life on Paper" by Bea Tusiani gave me, a Non BPD person, insight of the minute by minute struggle BPD's suffer with every day. The illness afflicting the patient (whom is the author's daughter) is one of the most extreme cases of BPD, but it none the less gives a very detailed glimpse of their daily agony. (Just on a higher scale)
If I may take this opportunity in this forum to suggest with high recommendation to read this compelling, heart wrenching can't put the book down kind of book, you won't be disappointed... .it may help put this illness in its proper perspective and help us heal quicker
www.remnantsofalife.comI wish you all peace of heart
