Emotional abuse poll results

One hundred people have responded to the emotional abuse poll, and here are the results so far:
A whopping 97% of poll respondents said they faced emotional chaos and instability (with 61% characterizing the chaos as extreme and 36% rating it as moderate). A similarly whopping 97% said that they faced lying and false blaming (with 60% rating these forms of abuse as significant and consistent and 37% experiencing these forms of abuse sometimes).
A large percentage of respondents-- 94%-- also faced humiliation and lack of respect (with 52% experiencing these forms of abuse at extreme levels). A significantly lower percentage of respondents faced controlling or dominating behavior (68%).
These numbers are so sobering to me. However different our BPD exes were, almost all of us faced emotionally abusive behaviors.

Wow those are really huge figures kc. I find it sobering too. What's interesting to me is that I don't typically classify those high figure stats of chaos, instability, lying, and blaming (90%+ summed) with control (68%). But one thing I took from my relationship was that the partner would use these things to control or dominate using fear. When I was faced with dysregulation episodes (that I couldn't handle), it effectively cut my choices of action. Having our choices cut away is effective control.
