I was just wondering. I've been doing some research and my exBPD girlfriend doesn't show many of these traits. But when I spoke to her ex fiancé he called her a narcissist. He admitted to me he is a narcissist. So my question could she have mirrored him to the point she was a narcissist during their relationship. I never saw any of these traits, but kind of sense them since I've been discarded. I could be wrong and just be thinking that all this hurt has just been caused by her BPD.

Possibly. But if she is just BPD that you know of then she's probably just displaying her usual BPD traits manifesting into behaving differently for the person she is currently with. She cant exactly become a NPD unless shes comorbid. There are narcissistic traits in BPD. Their understanding of themselves is a bit different. BPDs have an unstable sense of who they are. NPDs are known to have a grandiose "false" self. It's more stable but it's still false. It's slightly different to how BPDs view themselves. I think BPD is known to be more all over the place, always changing personas cos deep down they don't like themselves or know who they are. NPDs are insecure and dont know who they are too but they believe  their false self is who they are which is an identity built on a massivr lie that they are superior to everyone around them in every way.
