S10 stays with me every second weekend and every Wednesday night. I cut his nails last access weekend, tonight his nails are terrible looking. Xw is very clean, her house is a disaster zone or it was in the past, her BF lives with her now and he's a Frenchman so in my years around the French I can only conclude her house is now clean bc the French keep there houses and yards spotless. I think Xw is spiting me bc I don't respond to her ignorant texts that s10's cavities are my fault. I've had to cut off contact bc she is to ignorant and manuplateing. Long dirty nails look so bad I feel bad for s10.

Use the time cutting your son's nails as part of your bonding time. DH frequently cuts his son's nails, as apparently the mother doesn't have any nail clippers.

Funny you say use it as bonding time, that's what we do. Yesterday we got into a big conversation about pokemons.

It's those little things that add up over time. Eventually he can learn to do it on his own. It will probably be a source of pride/sense of accomplishment/etc. Doing a bunch of those little things really helps in the long term.

Hi david, that's my thought, little bonding moments add up.
