Hi, I am here trying to find help. My husband is BPD. Over the last 9 months of our marriage... I have felt like my life went from stability to choas. I don't know what to do. I am at the verge of separation. I hope to find support. It seems as though any form of feedback or suggestion gets turned into criticism and he starts to self-harm and spirals into suicidality very quickly. Does any one have any suggestions?

Hi Emmryce,

Welcome

We understand how you must feel, dealing with a loved one showing traits of BPD can be very mentally, emotionally and physically draining.  Just curious if your husband has been diagnosed BPD?  If you could give us some more specific background as to what typical circumstances happen to get to this point that would be helpful from a guidance standpoint.
There are some tools and lessons in the upper right hand margin of this page that can help in reacting with and communicating with a partner with BPD traits.
Let us hear some more details, you've found a place with people who understand... .as many of us have walked the same path.
