Did your female SO have strong feminism beliefs?

Mine did, and based on the common stories on Internet it seems that this is not so rare case.

It goes along with 'always the victim' perspective.

Her perspective had some valid arguments but most of the time she had almost radical perspective regarding this topic.

Your experiences?

Yes - but only the most radical, destructive type of feminism. She devolved into hating all things male (me included, of course... ) and seemed to fully embrace “Feminism is the theory, lesbianism is the practice.”

Correspondence between xW and her BFF included many instances of almost child-like feminist talking points, lots of "you are such a strong woman... " "you have been betrayed by so many... ."  "you deserve to live your life as you want... ."  and many other You Go Grrrrrrl type stuff.  All penned in ridiculous teenager-like text message shorthand - albeit by two women in their 40s.

When I can temporarily discount the damage wrought, the correspondence is some seriously funny chit... .

My BPDw does the same. I also think it supports the "victim" mentality. Because she has failings, or struggles with life, and she CAN'T blame herself, she can blame "society putting women down" for it, and therefore she support feminism.

Social Justice Warriors are commonly deranged women. Two prominent examples are Zoe Quinn and Emma Sulkowicz.

Interesting. My uBPD is a male who hates women. He was abused by his mother who is very cold and mean. He says all women are radical feminists.

Well mine is a lesbian so... .

Yes. She actually would not allow anyone to have a opinion otherwise. I am a woman too, a Republican (most of the time) and she told me apparently I want all gays to be persecuted.

Which is silly, I mean since I am in a gay relationship.

It's interesting you bring that up and it will be interesting to hear what others have to say.

Yes there is a great deal of misandry in my BPDw pathology. Publicly she has started many womens professional groups but privately her rage and venom is reserved for me and her son. She seems to control herself more with her daughter.

You can count me in as one of the "Radical Feminist-Meninist" minority Smiling (click to insert in post) My exBPD was clever, smart, spent a whole lot of time and money getting an education, could do maintenance repairs, etc., but here's the thing, not many persons with BPD wonder and care why they feel that way, and what it is about the disorder that permits such a free-flow of hatred, and why it needs to STOP. We have the logic, now how are we going to use it? We have deep-seated issues because of BPD. How do we change? No, I can't blame the woman as long as she has awareness of her disorder, and stops abusing herself and others, and is committed to constructive constraint, and creating positive changes around her. I cannot see how becoming a Radical Lesbian Feminist  should allow certain BPD people to act and say whteverthefuk they want without regard, nor concern, for the meaning of another individua'ls life, dignity, and freedom, that causes hatred to spread. This is also racist and misogynist imo. I don't see how "radical lesbian feminism" should have to be a "natural course" for a female BPD to take unless she is looking deeply into her real core issues with courage, honesty, and radical acceptance, of her real or perceived trauma, then owning it, in order to gradually release her empowerment, potential, and beauty as a real woman. To me, growing up during the inception of the Lesbian Radical Feminist 70's movement in Chicago, I believed it would not only empower Women, but everyone else who was on the gender spectrum period. RLF was never meant to ultimately create "an intense form of splitting"  as borderbunny stated...
