Hello group. My mother had NPD and I had relationship with a diagnosed BPD who is the mother of my 2 daughters. I was blessed with my father's genetics for empathy and compassion but with that comes anxiety, fear and probably some naivety. My daughters are in their late 20's and don't show the signs of NPD or BPD. So, for that I am grateful.

Hi Leo

Welcome to the family!

How long ago were you in the relationship?
Does it still affect you & to what extent? A little, a lot?
Do you think about it frequently?

Was your father aware that your mother had NPD?
