Ok after 20 years I am finally understanding our frustration. How do I listen when he accuses me falsely?
What are limits others have used to not get verbally abused?

Welcome Joany:

Is the person who is verbally abusing you a romantic partner?  A place to start is to learn about BOUNDARIES.  Learning to use validation or  NOT INVALIDATING can, also, improve things.

Click on the green words above to get to some lessons.  Check them out and then let us know what you think.  There are helpful people here who have a listening ear and can help you with learning some skills to make things better for you.
