Hi
I'm new here.  Just ended a 3 yr relationship with my boyfriend who I believe has BPD.  It's crazy but I still love him even tho he was verbally and emotionally abusive.  I feel so lost and I feel like a failure.   How do I recover. And is there any hope for healing and reconciliation

Hi Sherman,

What makes you think he had BPD?

My therapist identified it based upon my sharing of our experiences and his childhood trauma.  I initially just thought he was incredibly jealous, insecure and temperamental.
I did some online research on BPD and I do believe this is what he suffers from.

Sorry to hear of your pain, you've come to the right place for answers.

Can you give examples of your experiences so we know what advice and support you may need
