Hurting so badly at the moment after two years of intense highs and lows and now he has said its over and he is moving on.He has done this so manu times before but it has been two weeks and feels different this time.I miss the good times so much.I am hanging on to the fact he still has some of my stuff and previously he would text and say and come and pick up your things but he hasnt. When its bad its vile but when its good I feel lile the most special person in the world.Wish I knew if it was over... .

Hi Geekyteach and welcome
Sorry to hear you are in such pain. Everyone on the detaching board can relate to this, some many times over as these relationships are often recycled. It is very hard to get over a relationship that is so intense and has been so all consuming.
What you describe sounds like a BPD relationship. Is your SO diagnosed?
Glad you found the site. It has been such a lifeline for me. You'll find tons of really helpful articles, lessons and tools here so I'd encourage you to learn all you can to help you. Knowledge is power.
Keep posting. You'll get great support here and be understood.

Hey Geekyteach, Welcome! I'm sorry to hear that you are hurting. When you say "Wish I knew if it was over," it sounds like you would be open to another recycle. Are you? If so, many of us, including me, have done it. On the other hand, if it is over, then you have the opportunity to find greater happiness. What would you like to see happen? What is the best course for you? It's not all up to him.
