Mother with BPD

Hi all,

Definitely need support right now. This is my first post. I've been dealing with a mother with BPD. She is incredibly unhappy and constantly swears at me, demeans me, criticizes me, and screams her head off at me despite being in my mid-20s. I've always wanted to pursue a career to help the world and she hates that. I'm currently in the midst of a huge career shift to go from a corporate job to something that will actually help the world and she won't stop screaming at me about it. I know she is fearful about the cost implications -- but instead of being a rational parent she is calling me intense names, screaming at me nonstop, and demeaning me. Any suggestions? Do you live together? If so,  I can imagine how much harder boundaries might be to enact.
