Crisis with son

I'm in the middle of a crisis with my son and I reached out to exBPD.  2 texts and a phone call.  And I cannot believe that he is ignoring me.  I told him it has nothing to do with our relationship, but to please call because I need someone to talk to.  The situation with my son is very private and I don't have many people to discuss it with.  Is he so inhumane that he can just ignore me while it hurting?  I don't understand his lack of compassion.  I don't understand how he can just turn his back on me like that.  Before this, I thought he had some humanity and was not a complete psychopath.  Now I wonder.

And why doesn't he just block me from texting or phoning?  Is he getting some sick satisfaction from seeing me reach out to him and seeing my pain?
