I would say that this board is the absolute best at finding the help for how you can respond to your pwBPD. WE have a whole section of books that can help you.
Book Club . Some of the most popular are Stop Walking on Egg Shells and I Hate You Don't Leave Me. One of my personal favorites is Boundaries.
It is difficult to get a forced diagnosis. If your pwBPD is suicidal it might be possible to get her commited for a brief period, but usually that is just for 72 hours. There is no guarantee of a diagnosis. Getting a diagnosis will not necessarily change things though. What will help is for you to begin focusing on how you can best respond and react to your pwBPD. This will help you find peace and clarity in your relationship.
As for hotlines, there are none available. SOmetimes the national abuse hotline can help in domestic violence situations. Most treatment comes from finding local counselors, especially counselors that specialize in DBT therapy and/or personality disorders. Is your bf willing to get help?
