Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I really found a lot of information on the site eye-opening. I believe my couple has many BPD traits and I have only found out about BPD about a month ago. We have been together for six years and have a four year old son. She is having crises more often every time and it is a really difficult time for us in every way; financially for example, and she just cannot or will not cope with reality, according to my point of view. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for opening a space to find support, it is very important as I feel we became more and more isolated form the world. Blessings, 78wolf

Hi 78wolf and welcome to the board!  I am glad you found us but sorry for the circumstances that brought you here.  People here get it and have either been where you are now or already went through it so you are in excellent company and will receive support and guidance.

Have you had a chance to check out the link on the right side of the page?  There are several articles there that can help you learn how to care for yourself and understand the disorder.

You mentioned financial problems.  Does your partner spend a lot?  What other behaviors make you think she has BPD?

As you read and learn please feel free to ask questions and keep posting.  Building a support network is very important for your own healing and self-care.
