Hello All,

Its funny (but not really funny) how quickly the anxiety all comes back. Our S just told me that his XW (DBPD) is now suing the Court appointed T.  C is in a few weeks.  This T has been a life saver and God send because she was the first professional to see it for what it is.  Prior to that everyone else was very wishy washy.  I believe the T has a Pro Bono A. but I am not positive.  I need some ideas, I know when X was harrassing the T she felt like she wanted to quit, which was maybe 9 months ago.  I wish everyone was open and was able to go to the judge and tell him what exactly is going on, but you all know as well as I do it’s a game and money.  In the end, of course our GS is the one who loses.  Please share any ideas and pray for us.  Thank you.

Suing the court appointed T sounds like a crazy move and I believe the courts will view it the same way. If you or GS gets dragged into this you may want to come up with a plan to get more time for you and less time for x since she obviously has an issue. You might want to go to the hearing, if you are not called into it, just to make sure what is going on.
X would have to have a really good legal reason to get a court appointed T's decision to be changed. Something in the hearing would have had to be done improperly, in a legal sense, to get a change. X may also be convinced, by her attorney, that this is not a good course of action. MY ex threatened legal action a few times when things did not go her way. She backed down after her attorney was able to convince her she would not "win".

Given your son's ex's past behaviors this action isn't surprising.Do you have any idea on what grounds she is suing the Therapist? (other than she doesn't like her )   Are you or your son being called as witnesses or being asked to make any kind of statement?  How has the ex been acting around the Therapist since she took this on?  Has she been compliant?

It will be interesting to see what one judge decides about something another judge has ordered.

I would expect her to claim, "I'm custodial parent and it's not right for me to be supervised.  And IT'S ALL T's FAULT!"  Or whatever.  She'll claim anything and everything.  It's be a rough patch but should get resolved okay.  But there's risk the T will try to abdicate her role - if the judge allows - and no one else will want it.

If only the paperwork to fix custody had started first, then you could even better include that with everything else as "sour grapes".
