Hi,
I’m an adult child of a mother who has BPD and narcissistic traits. I’ve been reading “stop walking on eggshells” by Mason and Kreger and that has led me to this support page. I’m working with a psychologist to get myself better and to try and understand a bit about why my mother does and says what she does and why she treats me the way she does. I currently don’t have contact with her (it’s only been a few months) but one day hope to for the sake of my daughter.
I look forward to reading about other people’s experiences and be able to be in a space where people might understand what I’m going through.

Hi GoldenTree and welcome to the board. You are in the right place if you are looking for support and somewhere you can work on healing from your childhood. We are a peer support group focused on that very thing so I am glad you found us.
Can you tell us more about your mom's behaviors and what prompted the no contact (NC)?
Again, welcome!

Hey there,
GoldenTree63
. Welcome to the community. I’m sorry that you’ve had to find us, but very glad that you have. This is tough stuff, yeah? If you’re looking looking for people that understand, we do. You found this site by reading one of the best books on the topic. We’re peer based and we support each other here. You’ll fit right in.
Are you comfortable in sharing a little more with us so that we can help you with that information?
I’ve been involved with a highly narcissistic borderline. Tough stuff. Yeah?
We understand here, and we’re looking forward to discussing it with you. Give us a little more info,
GoldenTree63
. We can go for a walk from there. Glad to have you on board.
