I’ve been married to a man for 4 years who is BPD and he’s just starting to accept it. But the damage to our relationship has been so great that I don’t know if I can continue. I feel isolated because anything I do for myself, he feels threatened by, even spending time with my daughter. I’ve fallen into a deep depression, which angers him because he can’t understand why. Our relationship goes through cycles monthly, daily, hourly, and even moment to moment of extreme ideation of me and our life together or extreme devaluation of me and our life together and there is no middle ground. I want off this roller coaster but I can’t trust him to be fair with me in divorce, because he says he’ll be kind to me one minute and the next he says he’ll do everything he can to make sure I end up with nothing. I feel stuck and alone.

Hi.  I am glad you found us and are reaching out for support.

Can you share some more details about your relationship and the sort of conflicts you have?  It will help us get a better picture of what is going on so we can better support you as you decide how you want to proceed in your relationship.

I hope to hear more from you.  In the meantime, the good news is that you are not alone any more.  also, many of us here can probably relate to what you are experiencing.  We get it.
