Friend with suspected BPD

Hi,
I am new here and this is my first post. I have a close friend who I think may have Bpd. I recently asked for a “break” from the friendship because I feel so overwhelmed by her constant texting, neediness and roller coaster emotions. I have been reading about FOG and I think I keep getting sucked into fear, obligation and guilt. I do feel afraid of her anger and I am trying to figure out how to set boundaries or maybe end the friendship, but then I start to feel guilty. I would love any feedback.

Hi,
I am new here and I have a friend with possible BPD.
I didn’t see a category for those with friends, so I am posting here. I recently told this friend that I need a break because I was overwhelmed by the constant texts, demands to get together and roller coaster emotions. This sparked a frenzy of texts etc. and I have asked for a couple of weeks before we are in contact again. I feel fearful of her anger and exhausted. I read about FOG: fear, obligation and guilt and I have all 3. I don’t know how to either end this friendship or dial it way down. I tried last year to be less available and set boundaries and it made her angrier.
