Hi everyone,
I’ve been seeing a therapist for 2 years. My husband has been the subject of many of our sessions. He recently threatened suicide-had a plan. I had to call the police. Although he says that he’s gonna kill himself on a monthly basis- for the past 22 years. Whenever he sounds serious I call the cops. My therapist thinks he’s BPD. I need help.
Thanks!

Hi and Welcome

Suicide threads and suicidal ideation (SI) are so difficult to cope with especially when the threats are repetitive.  How are you coping with it all?

It is great you have a therapist to help support and guide you.  We can help you as well, especially as you share and post more.  What other behaviors does your husband exhibit that indicate BPD?  What would you say is your biggest challenge?

I hope you settle in and read and post in other threads as well as your own.  That is the best way to incorporate us into your support network.  Write more when you can.

Again, welcome.
